I read the book Love Actually written by Richard Curtis.
On the cover of the book there are 6 photos of men and 4 photos of woman who are the main characters of the history. On the top of the photos there is the name of the author in blue and below there is the title of the book in red and black. In the middle we can see a red ribbon with a label where is written “very romantic. very comedy” and a heart.

I like the cover because she allows to directly identify  who are the characters of the history and to see that the book speaks about Christmas and love.

Extrait : Whenever I feel unhappy about the state of the world, the Prime minister tought to himself, I think about the Arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport, where happy, smiling passengers greet their friends and relatives. It seems to me that love is everywhere. It isn’t big news – but it’s always there. Fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, friends and strangers. When the planes hit New-York, people’s last phone calls weren’t messages of hate. They were messages of love. If you look for it, you’ll find – I think – That love actually is all aroud us…

I chose this extract, because I think is the most beautiful, it is the one that best represents the moral of the story and I’m agree with everything that the writer says in this passage of the book.

In London, Chritsmas is coming and the people in this story have love on their minds. Some have found love, some have lost it. Some accept their loneliness ; others live in hope. Even the new British prime minister’s toughts are not always on his job – because love, actually is all around us…

I liked the book because it is a beautiful story of love that ends well for all the characters and there’s a little humour that makes history more lively.                                                                                                       But I find that there are too many characters that makes the book more complicated to understand.
