Abandonned Animals in America

Introduction :

I chose this theme because It makes me disgusted to think of all the animals who are abandoned every year in America and we don't talk about it enough.

I begin with the first part on: Overview of the problem, later the second part: Why we should help, after the third part: What we can do to help and finally the conclusion.

I. Overview of the problem

o In America a scientist did a study on the brains of dogs. He found that dogs’ brains react exactly like the brains of humans when they feel sad or happy. It shows that dogs have real emotions.

• They are in danger, physically and emotionally.

• Every year between 6 and 8 million animals are abandoned so the problems I just described are real dangers.

II. Why we should help

I am going to talk an example of an abandoned dog.

Miley, It’s a dog who was found the trash by volunteers.

She was hungry , hurt , she had skin problems.

Now she has a family and is cured. This story is touching because it shows that animals have feelings and need a family and to feel loved. This shows why we should help.

III. What we can do to help

Now I am going to talk about helping animals who are abandoned during vacations or for other reasons.

Ask people who are going on vacation, if they need someone to keep their pet.

Conclusion :

Animals are like humans: they breathe, they drink, they eat. They feel things.I think we need to talk more about this case, for me I love animals and I can not stand people abandoning them.
