The Great Barrier Reef

We took a plane from France to Australia. We arrived to Cairns Airport. It's a country in the Northeast of Australia, not far from the great barrier reef. We slept a day in Cairns. The next day, we went to Fitzroy Island by boat. We stayed a week in a hotel. The hotel was spacious and comfortable. We stayed a week in this hotel, it wasn't expensive, we payed five hundred autralian dollar. We took a boat from Fitzroy Island to the great barrier reef. The great barrier reef is the largest coral reef of the world. We did scuba diving in a safe zone to see the most beautiful fishes in the world. Why did we go in a safe zone ? Because you have to know, the great barrier reef is extremely dangerous. There are the world's ten most poisonous snakes. Also, there are sharks, crocodiles that is why you must be careful. We saw starfishes and lots of beautiful small fishes. When we were in the water, we took a beautiful photo, you can see on this photo, lots of fishes. My favorite fish was the yellow and black one. The great barrier reef represents one thousand five hundred sort of fishes, two hundred sort of birds. It was my favorite visit because I think the great barrier reef represents the most beautiful natural paradise in the world. Today the great barrier reef is threatened because the weather conditions are terrible and the human activities contribute to the destruction of the great barrier reef. Our trip was perfect, we met lots of australians. Australians are kind and friendly.
