Hello everyone so sit down please. Ok, perfect everyone is here. So our school recently decided to organize workshops for « Astronomy day » which will take place in a few days. However on this occasion, I decided today to explained to you the importance of going into space for American people. So for that, today we are going to approach 4 different forms of power at stake.

The first is the scientific power endeed, one of the major goals is to be able to travel in Mars. To do this, new spacecraft are developed such as the new spacecraft Orion by Nasa which would be able to transport astronauts further into the solar system. With the new spacecraft for international astronauts, this will allow them, to continue the groundbreaking research work to enrich humanity’s knowledge on all aspects of spacefight in order to further experiment on products an processes that could possibly improve life on Earth.

The second is the economic power, the only goal is lower the prices of space ventures because of competition between private companies that Nasa has signed as a parnership with them. Also because the US has been using russian capsule for years, now to make their astronauts to the ISS, its too expensive. This will allow them to use the money to multiply space venture and invest on more research. To be able have  the oppotunity to create a new American space shuttle and to facilate space journey.

The third is the technological power wich aims locate ourselves which will allow improve our daily life by gathering data abut the earth that will help to devellop a cartography of it. With the devellopment of th devices we can benefit from a faster and more effective localization indeed with in particular of the GPS which is integrated  in most of all that we have, for example the applications for smartphone or the geolocalisation. So have the possibility to finding more new places on earth and infringe less on people privacy.

The last is the military power which aims send weapons in space and therefore, increase the country’s military capacities to be able to stop « The war on terror » that took place on september 10, 2011 which will allow be must powerfull and be dominating military country with dangerous weapon. So this allows to have the opportunity to transform space into a form of battleground for millitary possessions.
