For several years, many gangs have appeared on the streets of Los Angeles located in California.

These gangs, like the CRIPS or the BLOODS, are extremely violent because they use barbarous methods such as murder or torture to recover information or streets belonging to rival gangs.

For this reason the gangs have a real arsenal of war including even AR-15, rifles intended only for the American police.

Gangs all have one goal in common: to get as many enemy territories as possible so they can sell more illicit substances, which will earn them more money.

Speaking of money, arms and drug trafficking are the main sources of revenue for these organized gangs.

The latter are extremely racist, he does not hesitate to hurt or even kill a person who is not part of the same ethnic group as the members of the gang.

The gang war provokes every year a lot of deaths, in 2006 the balance was 280 people having lost their lives and, unfortunately, the number keeps increasing each year.

Now we are going to present you the real reason we chose the Los Angeles gang war:

Her name was Cheryl Green, who was 14 years old and loved playing with her friends and watching TV like any other child of her age. she lived in a bad neighborhood in Los Angeles, but always had a smile, she spent most of her time outdoors with her friends. She had just written a poem at the school that began "I am black and I am beautiful". unfortunately, his skin color was the cause of his death.

One evening, as she was chatting with her friends, two Hispanic members of the 204th Street gang landed and opened fire on the group of friends. Cheryl and three of these friends were injured or killed. Cheryl is not the only victim because of her origins, indeed it is the case of hundreds of children each year.

But how does that affect human rights? Would you say so?

This is quite simple, if Article 2 of the European Convention on Human Rights is called "the right to life" it is not for nothing, indeed this article explains that life is protected by the law and that death can not be inflicted on anyone intentionally especially a child. The right to life remains protected in many texts, such as article 3 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and article 6 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

At that moment you must have wondered why having chosen the example of a murdered child not a gang member and not an adult, it is for the simple reason that it touched us very much to me and my Comrade as a teenager of the same age, I personally could not help but imagine myself in his place.

This is a good example because in this case the little Cheryl had nothing to reproach himself because on the other hand the articles cited rather

somehow authorizes murder in cases of legitimate defenses and overflowing.
