During the conference:

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization proclaimed 2015 The International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies. The goal is to raise public awareness of the contribution of these technologies to sustainable development, and the solutions they can bring to major contemporary challenges such as energy, education, agriculture and health.

Moreover, it is within this framework that Image Engineering Club organized this conference to outline the guests to different opportunities offered by Light-emitting diode technology and the facilities it provided to our daily lives.

Conduct of the Conference Conference:

1- Speeches opening:

The opening of the conference was provided by Mr.Youssef Ghellabi, who set the context of the conference and welcomed all participants on behalf of the Director of ISMAC and on behalf of all administrative body, he also welcomed the initiative by the members of Image Engineering Club.

2. Presentation of the club:

Amina Fadili gave a brief overview on the activities of the club and its prospects, and presented the conference as its first activity.

3- Presentation year International light:

Mohammed Khalil El Kasmi situated the context of this conference by presenting the International Year of the light and why 2015 was proclaimed as well.

4- Presentation of 2 video clips:

The first single was the international year of light, and the second on the importance of light in our daily lives.

5- Presentation history light:

Abdelaziz Bouzakraoui presented a brief history on the evolution of the lamps from the first lamp invention until LED.
